What our team is doing to keep LinkedIn safe

Nowadays, LinkedIn’s Head of Trust & Safety, Paul Rockwell, shared with that a post on what our staff is doing to maintain LinkedIn safe. We are discussing his entire article here as well:  

When our 610 million members use LinkedIn to find tasks, create connections and find new abilities , they expect and deserve a secure and trusted community where they can express themselves professionally. Being a target of abuse on the internet is debilitating and it doesn’t have any place on LinkedIn.

In years past I have written about how members could remain safe including exactly what we’re doing to get rid of fake profiles and the way we eliminate nation-state action from LinkedIn. We continue to make progress and have numerous new methods that we are identifying content through technology and human intervention, along with reporting by our members. Specifically, there are some new and helpful features and investments we have made such as:

  • The ability to record something like promoting terrorism or exceptionally violent. We expect you don’t experience this information, but if you do, please report it. By clicking on the three dots, It is possible to see this inside the reporting encounter\.

  • Upgrades to our Help and Safety Centers includes online security tips and how to spot violent behaviour.

  • New technologies is helping people discover fake profiles. From the first quarter of 2019, we could identify thousands of fake profiles, and we keep strengthening our detection backbone, and removing these profiles behalf of our associates.

We are committed to continuing to take action on profiles and content which violate our Terms of Service and Professional Community Policies. Maintaining this neighborhood safe safe and thriving is what gets us up but we can not do it all alone\. With members, our technology and our groups reporting each instance of abuse they view, we can maintain the skilled, dependable and safe location it needs to be to LinkedIn.
